Primary Responsibilities:  Account Manager

  • Reviews and approves all conditions
  • Sets final closing dates
  • Clears all conditions not needed for underwriting
  • Finalizes HOI coverage
  • Ensures that titles are vested properly
  • Conducts VOE’s, and anything else needed for a clean audit
  • Manages errors before files go to outside vendors
  • Responds to broker calls and resolves issues related to operations, underwriting, and closing
  • Cleans up any needed CD items
  • Meets daily with account executives to review pipeline needs
  • Acts as a liaison to Underwriting for the sales team and broker partners

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of the wholesale mortgage lending business
  • A proven history of building successful relationships with producing mortgage brokers
