Primary Responsibilities: Branch Manager

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • collect and analyze information regarding the borrower's income, assets, investments and debts
  • determine which financial products best meet the borrower's needs and are available based to them based on their financial circumstances
  • advising customer’s regarding the advantages and disadvantages of different loan products;
  • taking complete and truthful applications, executed and dated by customers;
  • originating loans in a fair and nondiscriminatory manner, without regard to race, sex, religion, national origin, or any other unlawful basis, in accordance with all applicable laws;
  • originating loans in a manner not detrimental to KFI, its investors or its owners;
  • originating loans at a fair market price in accordance with all applicable laws and government regulations without “gouging”, “steering”  or otherwise taking advantage of the customer for personal gain;
  • disclosing in writing to KFI all material facts that may affect the customer’s/loan applicant’s loan request;
  • notifying KFI immediately, in accordance with applicable procedures, in the event any customer seeks to lock their interest rate or cancel an application;
  • cooperating and assisting KFI’s processing and closing departments when requested; and
  • marketing and promoting KFI’s financial products to realtors, builders, financial planners; 

Education and Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of the wholesale mortgage lending business
  • A proven history of building successful relationships with producing mortgage brokers
